How to Keep Grounded in Times of Change.

Life feels anything but steady right now. Between personal challenges, rapid changes in the world, and the natural ebb and flow of the seasons, it’s easy to feel untethered (or is it just me ?) But here’s the good news: grounding yourself doesn’t require a complete life overhaul. Often, it’s about reconnecting with what’s already within you—your strengths, insights, and values—and using those as your anchor. It's also helpful to add in grounding foods to your diet like, root vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, red fruits, greens, and warm spices, like ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, and cloves.

Check out below my Golden Turmeric Latte. It's a grounding force!

Grounding Practices:

  1. Mindful Movement – Activities like yoga, stretching, or a simple walk in nature can help calm the mind and reconnect you to the present moment.

  2. Nourishing Foods – Choosing grounding foods like root vegetables, whole grains, and warming spices can help steady your energy and mood.

  3. Reflection – Journaling or some quiet, uninterrupted time can help you tune into your inner thoughts, reminding you that you present at this moment.

  4. The Five Senses Grounding Exercise
